Privacy

A site about public records has no business quietly collecting yours.

The short version

  • No accounts, no logins, no profiles.
  • No analytics script, no tracking pixels, no advertising, no third-party trackers.
  • No cookies set by this site.
  • Nothing about you is sold, rented or shared for marketing — not now, not later.

What happens when you load a page

HostingServed by Vercel, behind Cloudflare. Like any web host, both keep short-lived server logs — the request, your IP address, browser and time — for delivery and abuse prevention.
FontsTypefaces load from Google Fonts, which means your IP address reaches Google when a page loads.
CookiesNone set by this site.
AnalyticsNo analytics script is added to these pages. Cloudflare counts requests as it serves them — page addresses and rough visitor numbers, never a profile of you.

Cloudflare sits in front of the site and Google Fonts serves the typefaces. Those are the third parties involved in loading a page, and they are listed here rather than buried. Self-hosting the fonts would remove one of them; that change is planned.

The mailing list

There is no signup form on this site. The list button opens a blank email in your own mail app, already addressed. Nothing is posted anywhere and no mailing platform is involved — the same reason the buy button is a plain link.

If you send it, I hold your email address and nothing else, in my own mailbox. It is used to send new guides, new county references and product updates. It is not sold, rented or passed to anyone for marketing.

To come off the list, reply to any message and say so, or write to [email protected]. There is no unsubscribe link to click, because there is no platform behind it. A reply reaches a person and is acted on.

Buying something

Buying is handled off this site. The buy button is an ordinary link to Payhip, which hosts the checkout and delivers the files; the card payment itself is processed by Stripe. Because it is a plain link and not embedded code, neither company runs anything on this website and neither sees you unless you choose to click through.

Once you are on their checkout, Payhip and Stripe collect what they need to take a payment and deliver a download — typically your email address and payment details. Their privacy policies govern that.

Card details never reach this site or me. What I see is the order: what was bought, when, and the email address to deliver it to and to send corrections to.

Children

This site is meant for adults dealing with public bodies. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect anything from them.

Asking what is held, or to be removed

The business behind this site is MyWallyBot LLC, trading as PeoplesData.shop. Write to [email protected] or PO Box 132, Davis Station, SC 29041. If there is anything on file about you, you can ask what it is and ask for it to be deleted. Given how little is collected, the answer is usually short.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
